YOUTH & LifeCare
A healthcare and social innovation platform concept developed during InnovEgypt, combining medical services, reminders, AI diagnosis, and communication tools into one accessible platform.
Project Overview
YOUTH & LifeCare is a health-tech platform concept created as part of the InnovEgypt entrepreneurship program. It addresses gaps in healthcare accessibility by integrating patient management, doctor communication, medicine reminders, pharmacy access, and AI-based preliminary diagnosis — all in a bilingual (Arabic/English) interface.
My Role
CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) — contributed to market research, value proposition, business model canvas, and presentation design.
Problem
Healthcare access remains fragmented — patients struggle with appointment follow-ups, medical recordkeeping, medicine adherence, and getting quick preliminary guidance. Existing solutions are often siloed and not designed for youth or Arabic-speaking users.
Solution
A unified health platform combining patient accounts, doctor follow-up, medical records, chat, medicine reminders, pharmacy access, and AI-powered preliminary diagnosis — with full Arabic/English language support and simple icon-based navigation.
Key Features
Patient account creation and management
Arabic / English language switching
Quick icon-based navigation
Doctor follow-up scheduling
Medical record storage
In-app doctor chat
Medicine reminder system
Pharmacy / medicine store access
AI-based preliminary diagnosis
User Personas
Two primary personas were developed: a young adult managing chronic health conditions while balancing work and study, and a parent seeking reliable medical guidance for their family. Both personas highlighted the need for accessible, multilingual, and integrated healthcare tools.
Empathy & Field Research
Field work included interviews and empathy mapping to understand user frustrations with existing healthcare experiences. Key insights were visualized through an empathy map covering what users say, think, do, and feel — revealing pain points around appointment coordination, medication adherence, and lack of centralized medical records.
Platform Services
Doctor Follow-up
Schedule and track medical follow-ups with automated reminders and progress logging.
Medical Records
Secure digital storage for lab results, prescriptions, and medical history.
Doctor Chat
Direct messaging with healthcare providers for quick consultations.
Medicine Reminder
Customizable alerts for medication schedules with dosage tracking.
Pharmacy Access
Browse and order from partnered pharmacies with prescription upload.
AI Diagnosis
Preliminary symptom analysis using AI to suggest possible conditions before consulting a doctor.
Business Model Canvas
Revenue Streams
Subscription plans for premium features, pharmacy partnership commissions, and in-app consultation fees.
Cost Structure
Platform development, AI model training, cloud infrastructure, marketing, and partnership management.
Value Proposition
An all-in-one health platform with bilingual support, AI-powered guidance, and integrated pharmacy access — designed for youth and Arabic-speaking users.
Competitor Analysis
Evaluated existing health apps and platforms. Differentiators include bilingual support, integrated AI diagnosis, and combined pharmacy access within a single platform.
Design Thinking Process
The project followed the full Design Thinking cycle: empathize (field interviews and empathy mapping), define (problem statement and “How Might We” questions), ideate (brainstorming and idea selection), prototype (wireframes and interactive mockups), and test (feedback iterations). The selected idea was refined through multiple BMC iterations and validated against competitor offerings.
Tech Stack
Challenges
Balancing feature scope with feasibility as a student project. Defining a clear value proposition in a crowded health-tech space required multiple iterations of the business model canvas.
