The Beginning
I joined GDG OnCampus AOU as a PR Member, stepping into a fast-moving technology community powered by Google's developer ecosystem. It wasn't just another student activity — it was an opportunity to be part of something bigger, alongside passionate people who believed in building, learning, and creating impact through technology.
Building Events & Community
The season was filled with event preparation, promotion, teamwork, and collaboration. Being on the PR team meant crafting messages that resonated, building anticipation for events, and helping create experiences that students would actually remember. It wasn't only about posting content — it was about building engagement, supporting technical communities, and making every event feel meaningful.
The Grand Closer | Build With AI 2026
The season finale. An AI-focused grand event that brought together innovation, technology, and the community. It was an emotional closing moment — a celebration of the effort, teamwork, and dedication that defined the entire season. Building with AI wasn't just the theme; it was what we lived every day.
AOU Secures 3rd Place in MENA
A moment of pride for the entire chapter. Competing among numerous GDG OnCampus chapters across the MENA region, AOU secured 3rd place — a testament to the innovation culture, technology excellence, and community spirit nurtured within the team. It showed what happens when ambition meets collaboration.
G-Event ERU
An immersive workshop-driven event featuring AI workshops, Gemini tools, VR experiences, and hands-on learning. Students gathered to explore practical applications of AI, experiment with cutting-edge tools, and connect with a growing community of technology enthusiasts. It was learning by doing, at its best.
United Arab Innovators Hub
A visionary collaboration across Arab countries, uniting student talent around a shared innovation vision. This cross-border initiative brought together students passionate about AI, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis, Mobile Development, Web Development, Problem Solving, and Soft Skills. It was a glimpse into what the future of regional tech collaboration could look like.
Gemini Can Debug Every Struggle
An energetic, AI-focused session exploring Google's Gemini Pro, AI prompts, AI Agents, and the practical side of working with large language models. Workshops, networking, and hands-on experimentation made this one of the most technically engaging events of the season. It was where theory met real-world tinkering.
A Season Worth Remembering
After a full season of contribution, teamwork, events, and growth, the journey concluded with a moment of appreciation. GDG OnCampus AOU recognized the effort with a physical appreciation shield — a symbol of consistency and impact throughout the season. An official certificate from Google Developer Groups OnCampus AOU marked the closing of a chapter that began months earlier with excitement and ambition. The season ended not with a goodbye, but with a celebration alongside the entire team — the people who made every event, every late preparation, and every shared moment worthwhile.
